The Robinson Law Firm, LLC focuses on the specific needs of businesses and their owners. We represent small to mid-sized clients of every kind and attend to their legal needs from the start-up phase through maturity.
We build lasting relationships with clients across industries, including government contracts, technology, healthcare, defense, customs and aerospace, to establish the legal foundations that protect what they have built. Our goal is to provide business owners with high-quality legal representation at a cost-effective price point.
Founded in 2000 by Dr. George S. Robinson, III and his son, George S. Robinson, IV, the firm draws on a family tradition in public service and international law: decades of counsel at the Smithsonian Institution, NASA and the FAA, and the first Doctor of Civil Laws in aerospace law. That perspective shapes how we advise clients today, whether their work is local, national or global.

The Keelty Company v. Locksley Manor, Inc. · Case No. C-12-CV-22-000776
The Wetlands Golf Course in Aberdeen, Maryland, was at the center of a contract dispute between The Keelty Company and Locksley Manor, Inc., owner of the golf course and the surrounding wetlands. George S. Robinson, IV, argued the case in the Circuit Court for Harford County on behalf of Locksley Manor. The Robinson team successfully defended Locksley Manor at trial, and Mr. Robinson then argued the appeal and again prevailed.
Locksley Manor, Inc. owned four parcels totaling nearly 200 acres near Aberdeen, including the Wetlands Golf Club, a public 18-hole course operated since 1994, along with five associated buildings. The property was subject to a loan from Cecil Bank.
In May 2021, Keelty approached Locksley to purchase the property for phased development: first residential lots, then potentially commercial parcels. The parties negotiated but never reached a “meeting of the minds” on all essential terms of a sales contract.
Keelty sought specific performance of a sales contract, but the trial court found no enforceable agreement. Keelty appealed, raising three issues:
The Maryland Court of Appeals affirmed the trial court’s decision, holding that no contract had been formed and that the lower court’s rulings were correct.
